Designed by Marquet, royal architect, and built by D. Manuel Serrano, its 900 square-metre winery is a long building that contains fourteen large vaults. The subterranean cellar has a surface area of 2,500 square metres. Its wine-aging cave covers almost half a kilometre in length under the village of the Royal Country House of San Isidro. In this spectacular underground chamber the temperature is 12º Celsius and the relative humidity is 85% all year round.
